Newcastle Utd v Leicester City
It’s 4th v 9th in the Coca Cola Championship tonight as Newcastle United play at home to improving Leicster City in front of a partisan crowd at St. James Park. With both teams making a decent start in the Championship this match may prove to be difficult for managerless Newcastle Utd.
The Magpies are riding hide in the league table and if they were to win against Leicester City they would go top which would delight all the supporters of this massive football club. They have striker troubles tonight though, with Carroll, Xisco and Shola Ameobi all injury doubts for the live game. At least midfield stars Joey Barton and Nicky Butt are fit again and are expected to play.
Leicester City have made a solid start after securing promotion from League 1 last season. Manager Nigel Pearson, who has a long history with Newcaslte United as both player and manager will prepare his team well. The away fans will hope that striker Matty Fryatt can breach the tough Newcastle defences tonight.
