League leaders Rangers resume league play as week 4 of the Scottish Premier League kicks off. Rangers are away to a Motherwell outfit that is also undefeated early on this season.

Rangers picked up a big win at home in before the break as they trounced Hamilton Academical by a score of 4-1 at Ibrox. As a result of their win the side managed by Walter Smith now pace the Scottish Premiership log with 9 points and they sit just ahead of the 2nd place Celtic on goal difference. The Teddy Bears have 10 goals scored and 3 conceded and this will be their last league match before they make their debut in the Champions League.

The home side Motherwell were able to earn a point on the road in week 3 as they held out for a 0-0 draw against Aberdeen at Pittodrie Stadium. The draw leaves the Steelmen in 5th place of the Scottish Premier League with 5 points which are the product of 1 win and 2 draws. With Rangers having one eye on their Champions League debut, this game could provide a perfect opportunity for them to come in and steal one point.
