Hannover 96 v Arsenal
Tagged with: Arsenal • hannover 96 • live football • Pre Season FriendlyArsenal will play away to the Bundesliga’s Hannover 96 in a pre season football clash. This will be the last match for the Gunners prior to their participation in the Emirates Cup where they will face-off against Atletico Madrid of Spain and Rangers.
The side managed by Arsene Wenger got some great news in their previous match as striker Eduardo Da Silva was able to play and actually found the net. It had been reported earlier in the summer that Eduardo would need to sit out considerable time early in the season. Arsenal picked up a second straight win on the pre season in that game by a score of 0-5 over Szombathelyi after having defeated SC Columbia. Samir Nasri will not be available due to a serious injury he picked up in training recently.
The home side Hannover 96 are less than two week’s away from their opening match of the 2009-2010 Bundesliga campaign. This home fixture against Arsenal is their final pre season contest. The side managed by Dieter Hecking have been working on a 4-4-2 formation all summer long and this will be their final opportunity to put the revised setup to a test.
