Dundee United have a golden opportunity to get within striking distance of first place in the Scottish Premier League when they play host to Celtic in week 12. Dundee won a big game away from home last week while Celtic played to a draw away from home.

The Terrors were on the road to Kilmarnock last week and scored a 0-2 victory at Rugby Park. With the victory Craig Levein’s squad are 4th in the Scottish Premiership log with 19 points. The visiting Celtic were able to hold out for a 3-3 draw on their week 11 visit to last place Falkirk at Falkirk Stadium in while match where all 6 goals were scored after the halftime break. McDonald scored a brace to help the Bhoys hold out for the point. The result leaves the side managed by Tony Mowbray in first place of the league table with 24 points from 11 matches, 2 points ahead of the 2nd place Rangers who have one match in hand.
