Crystal Palace will face a tough task at home as they take on Premier League side Aston Villa in FA Cup play. The Villains are coming off of a disappointing draw at home on Tuesday.

The Eagles are back in the Championship following a 15th place finish during the 2008-2009 season. This season Crystal Palace are in 19th place with 33 points from 29 matches though the club had 10 points deducted due to their entering administration. Palace are one point behind the 18th place Sheffield Wednesday. The side managed by Neil Warnock were losers at home to Swansea City on Tuesday as they fell by a score of 0-1. Crystal Palace were able to advance to the 5th round of the competition thanks to wins over Sheffield Wednesday and and Premiership side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Villains were held to a 1-1 draw at home by a 10 man Manchester United at Villa Park. Cuellar had put Aston Villa ahead before the 20 minute mark but an own goal by Collins robbed cost the team two points. The club is now in 7th place of the Premier League table with 42 points from 25 matches. They are one point behind 6th place Spurs and 5 points ahead of the 8th place Birmingham City. The Villains were winners at home over Blackburn and Brighton to reach this stage of the FA Cup.
