Chelsea are home to face-off against FC Porto of Portugal to open up play in Group D of the Champions League. Both teams are coming off of victories in their most recent league matches.

The Blues were winners away from home in the Premier League on the weekend as they defeated Stoke City by a score of 1-2 at Britannia Stadium. Didier Drogba and Malouda were the goal scorers for Carlo Ancelotti’s squad. That win keeps Chelsea perfect on the year with 5 wins in 5 games and they continue to lead the Premiership. Alex and Zhirkov are the only expected injury absences.

The Dragons were also winners over the weekend as they held serve at home over Leixoes by a score of 4-1 at the Estadio do Dragao. Colombian international Radamel Falcao continued his great start to the year with yet another goal. The win leaves the defending Portuguese champions in first place of the Liga Sagres. Porto have won the Champions League twice, first in 1987 and then again in 2004.
